We are absolutely delighted to have been selected by Lynda, the Ladies Captain of Glen Golf Club, as her charity of the year and what a wonderful partnership it's already becoming!
The Glen's story begins in 1894 with the opening of the original nine-hole Rhodes Links, believed to be James Braid's first course design and enjoys spectacular headland views across the Firth of Forth and the Bass Rock, home to the largest gannet colony in the UK. It's a very special place, and we feel honoured to be part of their year.
When we spoke with Lynda, she was clear about what mattered most, finding a small, local charity where every pound raised would make a real and lasting difference to people in the community. That means so much to us.
We now have a golf-themed donation point at the club, alongside posters helping members and visitors find out how to support our work. Donations are already coming in, and the club has a whole host of activities in the pipeline, we can't wait to share more in the coming months.
A huge thank you to Lynda and everyone at Glen Golf Club. It's partnerships like this that make such a difference to the people we support.
