End 2025 with 2025 Christmas Campaign
This Christmas our goal was to end 2025 with 2025, aiming to raise 20,000kg of essential food items and £25,000 of much needed funds. We're incredibly thankful to all our sponsors and the partners who helped us make this campaign a success.
While winter brings celebrations for many, it also brings added pressure for families already struggling. Budgets stretch thinner, heating bills rise, and the expectation to provide whether for festive meals or simply to keep warm can feel overwhelming.
For those facing hunger and financial hardship, this time of year doesn't bring relief. It brings anxiety.
So, for Christmas 2025, we asked our supporters to help us achieve something extraordinary: End 2025 with 2025 – meaning we wanted to collect 20,000kg of food and raise £25,000 to ensure no one in our community went hungry this winter.
Our East Lothian Foodbank Supporters, or ELFS as we call them showed true community spirit and help us raise a whopping 20,648kg of food donations and an amazing £30,000 of much needed funds. Absolutely smashing our goal!
Thank you to our supporters, because you decided to support us, this Christmas not only did you help us deliver emergency food parcels, you helped us deliver hope. You came together to hold food drives, hold collections at your workshops, your schools. You ticked off your reverse advent calendars, and you hung baubles of hope, you dug deep and donated funds. You showed us that East Lothian stands together.
