Friday marked our first foray into walking football, and it was a brilliant evening.
Five teams came together at Pinkie Playing Fields to give it a go, raising vital funds and donating essentials, and the atmosphere was fantastic from start to finish.
Musselburgh Windsor, Tweeddale, Haddington, and two teams from Prestonpans played a round robin on the night. There were goals, there were saves, and plenty of laughs along the way.
By the end of the evening, the tournament had raised £425 and an incredible 80kg of food donations - all of which will go directly to support families right here in East Lothian.
It was wonderful to see everyone together, and we really hope this is just the first of many events like it.
A huge thank you to John Hood from Musselburgh Windsor for organising such a great night, and to every team and player who came along to take part, bringing donations and funds with them.
You've made a real difference thank you.
